HOW TO ORDER

We make buying your dream wedding dress through our Greta Bridal online boutique a magical experience.

Discover how our ordering process works.

Submitting your order and measurements

When you have chosen the wedding dress of your dreams, it’s time to get excited!

On your chosen dress page, simply click ‘Add to cart’. You will be prompted to indicate your general size (UK 8-16), and in some cases, the colour of tulle to match skin tone.

Don’t worry too much about sizing as we’ll confirm the details according to our size chart using your measurements.

The measurements we need from you are:

- Your bust and cup size

- Your waist (smallest part of your waist)

- Your hips (lower bottom – cheeks, not bones)

- Your waist to hem (with wedding shoes on, or shoes of exact same height as your wedding shoes will be).

Please watch our video to see how to take your measurements correctly. If your measurements are outside of our chart, please email us and we will provide an in-depth consultation on how to proceed.

We advise ordering your dress within 3-5 months of your wedding. If your wedding is sooner, please contact team.gretabridal@gmail.com for rush approval.

Design change requests

On occasion we may be able to offer certain modifications to our existing designs. For bigger changes, or to create your own custom wedding dress, please contact us and we will create a bespoke order for you.

Unfortunately, changes cannot be accepted once the order has been processed.

Receiving your dress

Once we have received your order and measurements, we’ll match you to the generic sizing of our size chart and get in touch with you with confirmation. You are not required to do anything else at this stage, besides plan the rest of your big day!

We will then dispatch your dress to you, an email will be sent with your tracking number when your dress is ready to be picked up by the courier. Your signature will be required on delivery.

We prefer our brides to receive their dress at least one to two months before the wedding day. Alterations and tweaks are very common. Should any be required, all alteration costs are covered by the bride.

Your dress has arrived! What next?

When you receive your dress, we recommend you try it on as soon as possible without make-up, lotions or fake-tan. It will have been handmade according to the measurements you gave us.

We highly recommend all our brides have their measurements professionally taken. Despite this, each body is unique and should you require any alterations, we suggest having it professionally altered to fit your shape perfectly.

On the rare occasion you think we have made a mistake with the measurements, please send us a few photos and we’ll happily ensure that it is corrected at no cost to you. Unfortunately, we can only cover costs if the misfit is brought to our attention within 24 hours of delivery.

If you have any questions before or after ordering, don’t hesitate to email us.
