  1. The initial quote given is in consideration of the information you provide at the initial consultation (e.g. fabric, design and embellishments preferences). Should any changes to the design develop, the quote may be subject to change.
  2. Your commission time-slot will only be secured once your deposit has been paid. We serve our customers on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis. Your place in our schedule cannot be secured without payment of the deposit.
  3. All deposits are non refundable.
  4. Work cannot commence and fabric orders cannot be placed until the specified deposit has been paid.
  5. Work will cease if payment is not made, possibly resulting in a delay in completion of the dress.
  6. If payment is late, work will resume only once payment has been made, and must fit around the current schedule. The dress of another client will not be jeopardized due to the circumstance of another.
  7. Unpaid orders remain the property of  Aleksandra Backunaite (Owner of Greta Bridal) until the full balance has been cleared.
  8. All designs are priced individually based on hours of work needed for completion, complexity of design and fabric choices of the client.
  9. A dress will often take 6 months or more to create. Every effort must be made to attend scheduled appointments to ensure that the dress is given the time it deserves and is able to be completed in time for the required event.
  10. Fittings take time to prepare for before a client arrives and, although they do not incur a further fee, short notice cancellations and arriving more than an hour late may be charged for.
  11. If you have any concerns about fit, garment design, or anything else during the process, please raise them as soon as possible. Once the garment is finished and you have paid for and collected it, it is deemed that it fulfils the contract and you have accepted it as such.
  12. Please strive to make all of your scheduled fittings, especially closer to the finish of your dress. Cancelled and delayed fittings may cause the pick-up date of your dress to be delayed as a result.
  13. Rescheduled appointments, due to cancellation, cannot be guaranteed to suit your preferred date and time.
  14. Exact colours and shades on fabrics and designs on trim, including lace, cannot always be guaranteed - shades do vary batch to batch and iPhone images are not always an exact representation.
  15. During fittings, shoes and underwear must be the ones intended for the wedding day to ensure the best possible fit.
  16. Underwear should be purchased at the earliest opportunity, the type of underwear needed can be discussed at your consultation/early stages of design.
  17. We will recommend number of fittings required to gowns, this mostly depends on the style of the gown.
  18. If the client insists on a fit tighter than recommended, we cannot be responsible for the finished fit of a garment movement resulting in damage to the garment.
  19. Equally, we accept no responsibility for gowns not fitting due to a clients' increase or decrease in weight or any other reason beyond our control after the gown has been collected. You can, of course, come back for an extra alteration if needed. Costs may apply.
  20. If a large weight increase/decrease occurs, especially during the final stages of your gowns creation, certain parts may have to be re-made, which may be charged for time and materials.
  21. In the event of a wedding being cancelled for any reason, the balance becomes payable immediately and all goods must be collected.
  22. If for any other reason the wedding date or deadline of your order changes, while we will strive to accommodate your request, we can under no circumstances jeopardise work for other brides who have already been scheduled.

  24. Dramatic design changes during toile stages and at final stages may incur further costs.
  25. The remaining balance on your dress is payable on collection of the dress. No dress can be collected without full payment.
  26. If you are unable to collect your dress in person, you may book a courier service to collect and deliver. We cannot be responsible for the safety of the gown once it has left our possession.
  27.  Further alterations that are requested after a dress has already been worn are not covered and will be charged at a normal seamstress alterations rate.
